How to choose a strategic domain name for a website

 

Though an easy process, it's never straight forward; choosing a domain name demands a certain degree of attention.  It further requires a  mixture of creative and technical skills, you might want to think about the following when selecting a domain name:

 

·                     Creativity

 

To begin with, you can go for a simple and short name that is easy to remember. It's better if the name  reflects the kind of product or service you offer or purpose to offer, and constitute your business name. For instance if you intend to sell baby toys, consider a name like http://www.babytoys.com. Such a name is not only easy and simple to memorize, but document without much strain and error.

 

·                     Domain Extension

Domain name extensions aren't difficult to comprehend;  all addresses ending with the following:  .com, .biz, .org, .co.uk, .ca etc are classified as extensions. They come into play after choosing your target audience. So if your business is one with international appeal, then a .com extension will be more appropriate. However, if you're targeting a national audience then you may want to consider a site with a .co.uk extension, thus if you’re based in the UK.

 

·                     Location
 

Location, location, location as the saying goes, you may be surprise that it's not only real estate agents that make use of location. Domain names can also be selected based on business locations. Let’s assume your business is located in Manchester, a good name may be http://www.manchesterbabytoys.com. Thus the name Manchester shows exactly where your business is situated. These 3 points though not exhaustive, they are very strategic in selecting a domain name.

 

 

Understanding Ram

 





Memory

 

Ram is part of the computer system hardware and serves as a temporary memory in the system unit. It's the abbreviated form of random access memory. Ram is very dynamic as all data in the ram is lost when the computer is powered off.

The main function of ram is to allow data to be quickly written and read on the system. So the bigger the ram, the faster data can be accessed on the computer. It's the reason why larger memories are preferred over smaller ones. So, consider ram when choosing your next system.

Getting to know Rom





Eeprom

Rom is another member of the memory family, unlike ram however, Rom is non-volatile meaning, contents stays even after the computer shuts down. Rom is also responsible for storing the program that is required to primarily boot or power on the computer system.  It only permits reading on the system.All though, there are other types of Rom, the most basics of them are Eprom and Eeprom.
